Not working on RPi 3 B

Hi!

I used balenaEtcher to mount the image (samplerbox_20220810.zip) – didn't work at all with RPi Imager, is that known?
Now I have a NanoKey2 keyboard and headphones plugged in.

But no sound at all.

Screen stops at "samplerbox login: _", which is probably normal.
Before this, I have some [FAILED] boot messages :

• "Failed to start Update UTMP about System Boot/Shutdown."
• "Failed to start Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status"

Any idea?

I had the same issue with RPi imager, and like you had success with balenaEtcher.

I've noticed that I must allow the pi to boot fully (hard to guage with no screen attached), before I connect the keyboard to USB. I've been leaving it about a minute after power-on before connecting the keyboard. I'm going to see if I can debug this

(I'm on a Pi 4, BTW)
